Thanks lax.com.au.

The squad looks pretty solid and while maybe a little bit lighter on raw talent than '06 still has a good mix and some good leadership.

Some points of note

No Cam Shep or Mat Arthur - both too old?

Plenty of Panther representation!

Marty Hyde and Darren Nicholas - the only guys on the squad who were not in a state team/squad (well done).

No Lefty goalies - but four very different goalies - surprised at one selection there on paper but obv i didnt see who went well.

Stark/Nicholas - both in their 4th campaign (98, 02, 06, 10), impressive longevity.

Best of luck and well done to all now the real work starts!

Good work boys, few suprises there. If you were in the team I think knowing that you will be competing against Paul Rabil would drive you to work hard, otherwise you would get your *** wooped, lol, also no lander good solid player all round,

Would someone be able to sort the players into their preferred playing positions..? I don't know every name on that team and I'm pretty sure not everyone else does.

Cheers

No Clinton Lander? Dunno what the selectors were thinking there. One of the captains of the National champs winning team as well as the current Isaachsen Trophy holder isn't considered to be in the to 30 players in the country (obviously I have Camberwell bias, but still)

Also surprised to see a few of the younger guys not get a shot I though Chris Plumb and Nigel Morton might have made the last 30.

Brad Sheldon (NA) & Stephen Mortimer (GLG) are the only non-Brighton players in the squad from SA!
