Does anyone know the camps that Mike Murphy, Upenn's head coach, attends to recruit. Any information would be helpful. Does he attend any Elite 180, NE Top 150, or Peak 200?

E-mail him...Tell him where you will be. Send him a film. Take your own initiative, we don't know.

contact the Coach only if you have a 3.5 GPA or better. It will save you a lot of heartache?

ivy league schools cannot guarantee admissions, even for athletes, so bethsc is very correct. dont even bother with upenn unless it is already a feasible option for you in terms of grades and academics

That makes more sense I think
I'm pretty interested in UPenn and would just to like to be in contact before the summer of my junior year.
See where they will be and tell them where I will be

(I'm assuming ATL means Atlanta) Kevin Reed from Milton was invited to walk on to UPenn's team. He also got a 36 on his ACT. Nick Rhodes from Pace also walked on to UPenn. If you're really serious about being recruited you might want to talk to one of them.

your right
I will look into that
when you say "walk-on", does that mean that they got into the school without talking to the lacrosse coach and then walked on, or were they recruited a little too, talked to the coach about playing, and then went out for the team?

HEY i'm here to calm everyone about the whole idea of IVY LEAGUE schools.
Ok well my big brother applied early decision to UPENN last year. HE had like a GPA of 3.7 unweighted. and he got some C's throughout high-school. he scored around a 1340 on his SAT and such, you get the logistics. He got his letter back saying he was accepted early decision and was allowed to come and move in early. HE is studying in the Medical FIELD. HE never really studied in school, and rarely did his homework, and i'm pretty sure only took about 2 AP classes his junior year and 4 AP classes his senior year. But i just wanted to inform everyone you DONT have to be a genius. And once you get into the school, he said its EASY AS A 1st GRADE MATH TEST.
HE is a SOPHOMORE THIS YEAR

you're a dunce, UPenn cannot be compared to a first grade math test. Also, 6 AP classes combined over 2 years is very impressive. you're brother is obviously a smart guy.
im guessing you didn't get the gene?

Well he was a sorta bad student. HE also Got in On early decision, he participates in some extra-curricular activities. But the fact is that he said that its not too hard once you get it. he says the tests are challenging. but not if You StuDy foR them. So alL im SayinG is that donT think that IvY leaGue is soo muCh more sophisticated than Any Other of those schools. But im not saying you can compare UpeNN to A art school..AND RIGHT NOW MY UNWEIGHTED GPA IS A 3.8 in all honors

HE is one of the 2 guys out of maybe 75 students left in the program for nursing... HE IS IN THEIR NURSING COURSES. HE is not homosexual,, btw
(has a girlfriend) but will transfer towards his grad year to doctor program. so its a 1 guy to 32.5 girl ratio.

Email him, but I'm sure he will be at ne top 150 considering thats where a lot of ivy league schools and nescac schools go to recruit.
