Hey y'all,
For those of you who dont have a gym membership, you know conditioning for lacrosse isn't easy. Before the season starts and school gyms open up for us, I figured I'd start a TLF Nike+ running challenge.
For those of you with all the gear (Chip, Shoes, iPod) then you can just sign up (The name of the challenge is Lacrosse Forums)
If you dont have those, the only things you really need is a Nike+ Chip
(20 bucks at the apple store or the nike store) and an ipod touch, ipod nano, or iPhone. You don't need Nike+ Ready shoes
I Repeat: Unless your current shoes are Nike+ Ready,
YOU DO NOT NEED THE SPECIAL SHOES!!!
I use my regular running shoes but i cut a hole in the insole the size of the chip. I just stick the chip into the insole when I want to track a run. This is simple to do and if you have any questions just ask me via PM.
The goes from now (Nov. 1st) until April 1st (That gives you 150 days to run)
Whoever records the most miles within that timeframe will win a prize TBD
