RANT. I didn't know where to write about the website

Ok, I'm a huge fan of IL, it's my homepage and I'm constantly looking at everything on there. I've never complained about anything on the site until now. But this "6 Things that Annoy Quint" video has to be the dumbest thing I've ever seen. First of all, you all are professionals, I get that he has his own opinion but putting a video on the front page of the site of him whining about stuff that bothers him (some of it being really stupid), not good. ILTV is awesome, I look forward to highlight videos everyday, but to come on and watch some guy whine about jersey numbers and wearing game jerseys and stepping on the "other team's 50 yard line" (lmao) is not what anyone wants. I understand that wearing helmets and annoying parents are legitimate concerns, so go write an article on your blog or something. I understand that I don't have to watch it, but it being there is just stupid; I know it's not a huge uptight company but IL still should be held to a high standard as everything else I've seen on the site is great. So anyway, that's my rant, dumb video, I'm gonna wear number 1337 this fall just for Quint. Peace.

The video was humorous, but I believe he had a point with the handshaking vs walking high-fives.

I love how he started acting out as he spoke. He's normally like any other reporter, talking about his topic without any body movements. But in this video he was body bumping and air high-fiving like no tomorrow.

As for the video, I totally agree with your statement about holding IL to a higher standard. If they want to get to that ESPN.com level, they need informative and professional videos to bring in the fans.

I liked his rant about the womens lacrosse high fives. I thought that was funny. I especially enjoyed when he "reinacted" the high fives.

I have to agree with everyone else here when I say it was quite funny and enjoyable to watch.

i hate quint and everything that he's on no matter what. I can't stand him as a commentator or those stupid little videos he comes on during lax games.

I like Quint, his passion for the game is awesome, I would rather watch a game with him and benninati then some monotone who doesn't know a lacrosse stick from a tennis racket.

And to the hardass that hates quint and those 'stupid little videos' . You need to realize that theres people that turn on a lacrosse game and don't know whats going on, or why a certain call was made. Those videos are a great help, and could be the difference between a person changing the channel or not.

Quit being so ignorant and realize that Quint has done a lot for the game of lacrosse, regardless of whether or not hes annoying at times.

doesn't mean I can't not like him. I'd personally rather have someone else doing the videos or commenting. So to the "hardass" who wants to call me out, not once did i diss what he did for lacrosse. I can not like him because i'm entitled to that opinion, and you can state your opinion, but to personally insult me is unacceptable.

that is fitting man you win as a team man if his team wasn't where they needed to be a double and a triple could have come on him and screwed that up the goalie got screened in a ton of his shots because the team was willing to be where they needed to be. you dont win as a individual so you shouldnt celebrate as a individual

i really actually like quint's vids. i tihnk theyre very interesting to watch. especially helpful are his vids about preparing for the upcoming season. (conditioning, stickwork, etc) i like his buzz word vids too, its a good review to watch before the upcoming season. i dont understand why anyone would not like quints enthusiasm for the sport and that he puts up these video. it really shows the sport of lacrosse is growing. i hope more of these videos are made

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough in my first post, what I meant was what difference does it make if it is an article or video? He was VERY hyped up when he made it, obviously. I never said that the Rabil clip was fitting though. Anyway going on the other team's side is bad sportsmanship becuase it is just against the fundamentals of the rules in terms of seperation in warm-ups. Other than legitimate concers, he does have a good point about the way the women "shake hands" after the game; that is just terrible. Also, the jersey thing can be annoying because if you go to a fall ball game with the teams' rosters you would want it to match up right? However, that is definately one of his persaonal complaints because it must be a pain in the butt to figure it out.
